Description
Great Places to Stay* was first conceived by Cherryl Houben and Neville Franks in October of 1999. Being lovers of Bed & Breakfast getaways and having the expertise in communications and web design it was a natural match that would be the start of a long term commitment. Extensive research and analysis of the then current online resources and the future needs of the market turned into plans and then designs. The web site opened to the public in October 2000. By early 2002 the site had grown to a monthly traffic of around 5,000 unique visitors and a selection of some 90 properties from around Victoria. In January 2006 Great Places to Stay achieved over 18,000 unique visitors, with 152 properties in the database.
